Hello Packwalk Adventurers!!
What's a packwalk? I'm glad you asked.... it's when a bunch of cool ppl & awesome dogs get together and walk in a big pack around the Laguna Regional Park!! It's a great way for you pooch to get outdoors & be around other dogs in a safe environment. It's also an awesome opportunity to practice basic obedience skill w/distractions. So if you could use some great company and a beautiful setting for your morning walk, why not join us on an adventure around Laguna Niguel Regional Park?
The walk will take approx 1.5 hrs where you're surrounded by nature... there's a lake, ducks, trees etc... If we have enough ppl, we'll even have a raffle... so bring a couple of bucks & help keep this group going!! For those of you who are interested, we'll head over to the Corner Bakery for some breakfast!!!
What you'll need:
6ft leash
treats wouldn't hurt
water for the pooches
camera
Here's where we'll meet... there are 3 places you can park:
1. $5 gets you in the parking lot, go to the LEFT turn Left into the first parking area (across from the main play ground)
2. you can park in the sports park / shopping center parking lot and walk into the park (it says that you might get towed, but you won't). follow the main street into the park & walk towards the LEFT -
3. drive past the main parking lot, turn LEFT on Yosemite, park on the street, there will be a path leading into the park, walk to the RIGHT until you see the parking area.
In all 3 cases, you'll see my black FORD EXPLORER there. We will promptly start the walk @ 8:45am!!
safety rules:
1. Have your dogs leashed at all times
2. Ask to intro your dogs to one another.. only one or two dogs meeting at once please
3. Give those who have multiple dogs room enough to get their dogs assimilated and well under control,
